About Us
Steele Fire Apparatus, located in Haskell, Texas, is a manufacturer of custom built brush trucks, tankers, rescues, skid units and foam units. Bill Steele, owner and operator, has been a firefighter since 1981 and retired as Fire Chief in 2007 from the City of Haskell, Texas. He has over 28 years in the welding and machine business.
Specifications
Our equipment is built by firefighters for firefighters using only the highest quality materials and products. We will work with you to make sure you get the most out of your truck for the least amount of money. We can build to your specifications. If you don't have specifications, we will sit down with you and design a truck to fit your budget and needs. We also do repair work and can refurbish and upgrade equipment on a department's existing truck. If you can dream it, we can build it.
